K-CA Universal
Camera Clamp Adapter Kit |
The K-CA converts the existing camera michrophone clamp to a standard 3/8"-16 thread, the K-CA is a simple and cost-effective way to mount accessories like a shock mount or michrophone suspention system to popular DV cameras. When added to the clamp, the adapter allows a user to better position the microphone away from the camera in order to isolate it from the camera's sounds or vibration. he K-CA is designed to fit most DV camera michrophone clamps. The K-CA comes complete with 2 rubber sleeves to accommodate clamps of different sizes, for example JVC, Sony and Panasonic.

The K-Mount is the latest step in K-Tek's evolving line of professional microphones support products. A smart combination of meticulous design and affordability, this lightweight, versatile microphone suspension system features K-Tek's unique 4-point polymer microphone suspenders (K-SUS). Fitted into a handsome cylindrical aluminum frame, the suspenders stretch to accommodate most microphones. The unit's universal mounting system with stadard 3/8" - 16 thread attaches easily to a boom pole or any other fixture. Using the K-Tek Universal Clamp Adapter Kit (K-CA) or Shoe Adapter (K-SA), the K-MT can be mounted on most DV cameras.

Made from a special polymer, K-Tek K-SUS Microphone Suspenders are a high quality replacement for rubber bands, or bands and clips in various suspension systems. Designed to fit most available suspension frames with a four-point mounting pattern and accept any microphone with a diameter of 20 - 40 mm. Available in pairs.

This 5-Section Boom Pole combines thoughtful design, top-of-the-line materials and precision engineering. The K-56 telescopes from 1' 4" (40cm) to 4' 11" (150cm). Available wired with internal cable and bottom or side connector (CC or CCR) or unwired. Superior Construction K-Tek Poles are constructed from high-density graphite selected for maximum strength and minimum weight. Eight layers of dent-proof graphite are precision ground and then burnished to produce a low handling-noise finish. Advanced Design Klassic Pole tops feature two sets of slots to accommodate most types of mic cables. Telescoping sections are connected with unique “captive collets” that require minimum torque. The collets are held captive within our new Soft-Touch rubberized dimpled collars. This new design offers a UV and rain-resistants collar to withsand years of use. The Soft-Touch provides a pleasant touch and good grip under all conditions, even in extreme temperatures and humidity. |

The series offers many of the same benefits of the original Klassic boom poles in an affordable package -- eliminating some deluxe features but without sacrificing any of the K-Tek quality. All poles feature the same high-reliability collars and unique “captive collet” coupling system. |
The
telescoping sections lock in place
securely and easily. Factory wired models (CC or CCR) are fitted with a
high-quality coiled cord inside the pole and a sturdy male XLR
receptacle conveniently mounted with a bottom exit or a side exit at
the base. The first professional boom pole designed to fit into a standard equipment case, the versatile Avalon Traveler (KEG-88 or KE-79) stores quickly for easy transportation and extends to a maximum reach of over 201cm. In addition to standard black, some models of the Avalon Aluminum series are now available in striking anodized red or blue. |
