The Soft-ZepS Basic is a slightly shorter version of the Soft-zep to accomodate for shorter shotgun microphones such as the DPA4017, Schoeps CMIT-5U and Audio Technica AT875 and does NOT have a pistol grip but is designed for boompole mounting only.
